Learn to speak German

Join our German Language Classes in
Surrey, BC

The Surrey German Language School offers internationally recognized Saturday morning language classes for children from Preschool, Kindergarten to Grade 12 and for Adults.

Our Teachers of German develop our students’ ability to read, write, understand and converse in German and, in addition, offer a broad understanding of the history and culture of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Our School in British Columbia is a place where students and their families also join our community and experience German heritage traditions.

We believe everyone has the capability to learn to speak German and we give our students the tools to develop their full potential.

SPEAKING

READING

WRITING

Valuable Support

Our Partners

Our school has formalized partnerships with national, provincial, and international organizations that support our education program to promote German as a second (DaZ) or foreign (DaF) language.

Support our school

We need your help

As a Non-Profit Organization, our ability to provide quality education hinges not only on tuition fees but also on the support of generous donors like you. Despite facing escalating expenses, such as classroom rentals, we’ve managed to maintain our tuition rates at last year’s levels. This achievement has been made possible through the unwavering support of donors and fundraising efforts throughout the year.

Looking ahead to the next school year, we’re reaching out to you, our valued community member, with a special request. We highly encourage you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to our school when you register. By doing so, you’ll not only help us keep our doors open but also contribute to our sustainability efforts, especially if you commit to a monthly donation. Not only is this easier as the payments are smaller for you, but it helps us better anticipate our funding.

Moreover, making a tax-deductible donation can be advantageous for you as well. You may be eligible to receive a portion of your donation back through tax deductions, providing you with a beneficial way to support our school while also potentially reducing your tax liability.

Your generosity plays a vital role in ensuring that our school continues to thrive and provide exceptional educational opportunities to our students. We deeply appreciate your support in helping us maintain our mission and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Thank you for considering a donation to support our school. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and the community as a whole.

Focus on Multilingualism

German: A Great Option for a Bright Future

Schools play a vital role in helping students become global citizens by giving them access to language and culture. As the world continually becomes more connected, the importance of multilingualism cannot be ignored.

The Goethe-Institut Toronto travelled across Canada to speak with educators, students, employers and those who are professionally benefiting from their German language knowledge.
